BAINBRIDGE, GA - News release from City of Bainbridge
As most of you are aware, Bob Gardner is retiring as the City of Bainbridge Building Official/Inspector effective May 31, 2012.
In the interim, the City of Bainbridge has contracted with SAFEbuilt, one of the country’s largest providers of building department services.
Beginning June 12, 2012 through July 31, 2012, SAFEbuilt will be conducting plan reviews and construction inspection services for the City of Bainbridge.
The inspector will be located at City Hall from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday.
Construction Inspection Services
Perform inspections required to determine that construction activity complies with approved plans and/or applicable codes and ordinances. Inspections scheduled after 3:00 pm may be performed on the following business day.
SAFEbuilt inspectors will result inspections into its Permitting Software. When a violation is found, SAFEbuilt inspectors will provide a written description of the violation and cite the relevant code sections.
Field consultations with homeowners, builders and contractors may also be arranged for projects that require a permit at no additional charge.
